So you see, that really is the problem
Changed my rims quite recently, from a SSW 17" Bronze 007 Eternity rims to the stock 17" MY08 Impreza rims. I must say it looks kinda good (read:STOCK). Gives it the "sleeper" look, not that I have any illegal modifications or anything.... =]
BUT, it's time to change the rubbers. My 1 year old, 30,000km+ Falken rubbers have finally endured much torture and started to get really slippery. Was thinking of the Azenis series (RT-615) or Toyo T1Rs, but budget, budget. Haha... Time to start saving those $$$ again... Besides, I've still to install the 2/1 Pot Forester brakes I acquired from the Scooby forum bout 3 months back. The handbrake mechanism sure doesn't come cheap man.... LOL. AND, I've to upgrade to the GRIT series SSBH (Stainless steel braided hoses) which will set me back another $280.
Conclusion, it's either the tires are replaced or the brakes for now. I think I'll choose the brakes. I'll just try to control my right foot for now.
